The Tonsley Pods were crafted for the Tonsley Park project in Adelaide, which repurposed a car manufacturing facility into a mixed-use industrial park.  Each 10m long pod had a different use, some were fit-out as retail spaces and others as corporate meeting rooms. The project stipulated that internal fitouts be modular for future redevelopment.

The GL18 portal frame with hidden gusset plates, and roof and ceiling structure, was fabricated in our Melbourne factory and shipped across to South Australia for installation. The high accuracy of CNC allowed for knee joint plated to be adopted to create a seamless mitre joint.
