This unique outdoor timber structure provided a distinct relief from the usual concrete façade and carpark entrance. A requirement for sharp radius to the mitre joint required CNC precision with grain orientation to achieve the architectural intent.

Cypress pine was adopted specifically for this external application due to its durability class 4 classification. Any chips, colour/grain, variances, damages needed to be identified and resolved before assembling. The beams were to be delivered on site, for the Hacer Construction team to be able to assemble.
