This unique outdoor timber structure provided a distinct relief from the usual concrete façade and carpark entrance. The brief specified a sharp radius to the mitre joint, which required CNC precision with grain orientation.

Cypress pine was adopted specifically for this external application due to its durability class 4 classification. Any chips, colour/grain, variances, damages needed to be identified and resolved before assembling. The beams were delivered to site for the Hacer Construction team to assemble.
