COMPLETION

2014

The $47 million Werribee Sports and Fitness Centre expansion project involved the refurbishment and extension of the existing complex to provide what is now one of the largest sport and recreation facilities in Melbourne’s western suburbs.

As part of the project, Specialised Timber Fabrication supplied 15 Durabeam portal frames for the main entrance to what is now called ‘Eagle Stadium’. The exposed timber beams were detailed with hidden steel pin connections concealed within, for a seamless finish that provides a grand welcoming to the main foyer.
