An inner city dwelling with a unique GLT feature. The GLT structural frame was expressed throughout, in a post & beam portalized arrangement. Attention to detail and building envelope ensured passive house compliance. Masslam from ASH was utilised as the primary element, with secondary framing.

Solid Masslam stairs were detailed to completion, and to be installed with the GLT post & beams. To achieve the highly detailed arrangement, CNC tolerance was required. This approach to architectural design resulted in an elegant and striking presence, while also keeping a minimal aesthetic.
